We had a lovely stay and enjoyed the cozy underfloor heating in our clean, spacious room. The stunning view of the river from our window. The garden area offered nice spots to relax with a drink and the tranquility of the surroundings made it special. One small thing to note is that events seemed to cause a bit of noise at night, but it didn't ruin our overall experience. 😊

Had an amazing stay with friends! We enjoyed the lush golf courses nearby and even took a brewery tour to learn about the local beer-making process. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff were incredibly friendly. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, making our trip unforgettable.
Unfortunately, the upkeep of some public areas could use improvement, with worn carpets and a bit of an old smell. This could take away from the overall experience, but it seems like they are working on refurbishments.

The location of Maryculter House is fantastic, right by the river with stunning views. My room, a classic tearoom, had a nice touch of Scottish charm and a cozy sitting area. The bathrooms were beautifully updated, offering plenty of room. I particularly enjoyed the breakfast options, which included a variety of fresh pastries and hearty dishes. The staff were friendly and helpful, but I noticed that some areas, particularly the common spaces, could use a bit of a refresh. A few carpets showed wear and gave off an old smell. This detracted slightly from the overall ambiance, but the warm service made up for it. I also had low shower pressure in my room, which made morning routines a bit less pleasant. Despite these minor setbacks, the lovely setting and excellent food made my stay quite enjoyable.

I recently enjoyed a wonderful afternoon with friends where we caught up over delightful afternoon tea, and the mini haggis scotch eggs were a tasty surprise. The peaceful garden area offered a lovely spot to unwind, and I loved watching the river flow by. Just a heads up, the walls were a bit thin, but it didn't take away from the lovely experience! ☕

Our room was amazing! We had a spacious suite with a comfy bed and lovely views of the river. It definitely felt more luxurious than your typical hotel room. The decor was nice, too, reflecting the hotel's character. Had a little patio which was perfect for relaxing. Only downside was a slightly dated feel in some areas, but overall really enjoyed the space.

We had an amazing time during our 4 night stay. The room was spacious and the river view was fantastic, like something right out of a dream.
It wasn't inexpensive, but honestly, for what we got, it was still quite reasonable.
